What is Tea Tree?

Tea tree is an Australasian flowering shrub or small tree whose leaves are sometimes used for tea. Some species yield an oil valued for its antiseptic properties. Tea Tree oil is an excellent treatment for acne. One study found tea tree oil to be just as effective as benzoyl peroxide, but without the negative side effects like redness and peeling. Tea tree oil can also treat minor wounds, encourage healing, and prevent infection. (source)

MY THOUGHTS:

I have been trying this Tea Tree cleanser since my period and I continuously use it. It does not sting and does not dry my sensitive skin, hence it feels fresh, clean and hydrated. I even use it in the morning when my face is a bit swelling (see my demo video / DIY morning mask below).

As you can see in the before and after photo, just after use my swelling pimple has subsided even some redness on my face. It also removed all the sunscreen and dust on my face. Skin feels fresh, clean and calm.

Suitable for everyday use even on sensitive skin. Great thing is it only has 10 ingredients.

TIP: You can also use this as a cleanser in the morning if you are the kind of person who is not into washing their face in the morning then you might consider using this.
