Before we start this review, let me give a gist on what B5 is.

What is B5 or shall I say Vitamin B5?
Vitamin B5, also known as pantothenic acid, is a member of the powerful B-complex vitamin family. Its provitamin, panthenol (also known as provitamin B5), is the alcohol form of vitamin B5. When lotions, creams, ointments and formulations containing provitamin B5 are applied to and absorbed by the skin, this provitamin is transformed into vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), which has natural broad abilities to moisturize, soothe, heal and regenerate the skin. In short, B5: Moisturizes, Heals and Protects the skin.

Has a gel-like texture and floral scent.

WHAT ARE THE CLAIMS?

This mask claims to instantly moisturize, refreshes and revitalize the skin.

Indications : This gel-based masque is enhanced with a unique complex containing most effective hydrators which helps increase skin's hydration level and retain its natural protective barrier to prevent moisture loss. Ideal for use on a variety of skin types which include dry, dehydrated, aging and stressed skin. (source)

During application

Directions for use :
Evenly apply a thick layer (approximately 5mm thick) to cleansed skin, avoid contact with eyes and lips. Leave for 20~30 minutes, and then remove excess gel with a spatula and wash off remaining.

MY THOUGHTS:

This is not like the other masks that I have used for those are mainly made from clay. But this one is made up from gel. I applied this right after cleansing my face before toner as I have to wash it off after. This has a cooling or soothing feeling which is great for those who have red or irritated skin.

After 30 minutes of application and after I have removed the excess mask using the spatula then wash it off, my skin felt soft, smooth, hydrated and refreshed. It did exactly what it claims.

So far, I have incorporated this mask to my night routine or when I badly need extra hydration in the morning. This is also a perfect mask before makeup for a seamless canvass.
