REVIEW - Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Primer, Foundation and Freestyle Highlighter

It has been a long time coming. Now it's here!

Behold! FENTY BEAUTY, the new makeup line created by the pop icon Rihanna.

Luckily, it was launched here in Dubai on a Friday (it means, I'm on a day off. Hurray!)

So, when I saw that it will launch at 10am, I set my alarm to be able to go to Sephora Dubai Mall by the said time.

Now, as I set foot to Sephora quite few people are clumping up to the Fenty Beauty counter. As I check the counter my initial reaction was "OMG!" with heavy breathing.

And so, I ask an employee (Mr. Dee Jay) to help me find my shade on the foundation and other things. I also had a make over (thanks to Mr. Narciso) with the products that I bought and below are the items I grabbed and my initial review.

1. Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer (Soft Matte)

Price: 150 AED

My Thoughts:

light vanilla scent
lightweight
non-greasy
moisturizing
decreased pores

I am impressed with this primer, I have really dry skin and it felt hydrating it also decreased my few visible pores especially on my nose area. So far, I am loving this primer, did not have any allergic reaction.

2. Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (Shade 220)

Price: 170 AED

Claims:

medium to full coverage
longwear
light as air

My Thoughts:

liquidy with light vanilla scent
easy to blend
lightweight
does not cling to dry patches
long wearing for up to 7hours
buildable medium to full coverage

The claims of this foundation is so true! It blended smoothly. I did wear it for about 7hours and still looking good. But as to any foundations out there, there will be fading and clumping on the nose area but you can always blot it and it will be good as new. It is lightweight, that you won't feel you had foundations on.

3. Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter (Trophy Wife)

Price: 160 AED

My Thoughts:

This is a very interesting highlighter. It is not like any Anastasia highlighters. It may seem very gold on the pan and on my swatch but actually when you use a brush it looks amazing! A perfect highlighter for that natural healthy glow.

It is buttery but may have some glitterilike chunks but does not bother me because it does not accentuate the textures of my skin, rather it compliments it. This will look awesome on any skin tones.

This is where my review / first impression ends.
